Kadai Paneer is a popular North Indian dish made with paneer (Indian cottage cheese) cooked in a spicy, tangy tomato-based gravy. The dish gets its name from the traditional Indian wok, called a “kadai,” in which it is often prepared. Paneer cubes are stir-fried along with colorful bell peppers (capsicum), onions, tomatoes, and a fragrant blend of ground spices like coriander, cumin, garam masala, and red chili powder.
